Zero Waste Bag Survey 2025 Terms and Conditions

PROMOTER

The promoter is: TerraCycle Ltd® whose registered office is at Westgate
Hanger Lane, London W5 1UA.

ELIGIBILITY 

The competition is open to residents of mainland Britain, except employees connected with the organisation or judging of the competition. Must be 18+ to enter. 

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

PROMOTION DATES 

Opening date for entry will be on 04/04/2025.

Closing date for entry will be 21/04/2025 at 11:59 pm. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

PARTICIPANTS BOUND BY CONDITIONS

By entering this competition, a participant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By entering this competition, the participant warrants and agrees that they are over 18 years of age. 

Routes to entry for the competition are from the Zero Waste Bag Customer Survey if you opt-in to be part of the competition.

The promoter reserves the right to remove any participants not complying with the terms and conditions of the competition, the terms of use of the promoter’s website, the law or whose behaviour is considered by the promoter as disloyal, dishonest or fraudulent. The promoter reserves the right to investigate the above behaviours during or at the end of the competition. The promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so at its sole discretion.

Participants will be notified (by promoter) of any material changes to these Terms and Conditions as soon as practicable.

PRIZE

The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. The prize is subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

The prize will be 1 x Zero Waste Bag Small Bag Bundle. The value is £68 (outside of promotions) as it appears on the website: https://zerowastebag.co.uk/.

HOW TO ENTER

The participants will have to submit the Zero Waste Bag Customer Survey sent via email.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION :

Three winners will be chosen at random. 

Only one survey submission per customer.

The promoter reserves the right to:

a) verify the validity of entries and participants;

b) disqualify any participant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions or with the law; 

The promoter will not notify participants of their failure to win the prize.

The winner will be contacted via email on 07/05/205. After reasonable attempts to contact the winner by email, if the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days after being contacted or the winner does not claim the prize within three (3) business days after the notification, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The promoter is not responsible for contacting the winners by any other method than email or for the winners not receiving notification for any reason.

DELIVERY OF THE PRIZE

The participants will have to share a valid address in mainland Britain for the delivery of the prize. The promoter will then notify the winner when the prize will be delivered to the provided address. 

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters in connection with the competition shall be final and no correspondence will be entered after the competition.

LIABILITY 

Neither the promoter assumes any responsibility for any failure to receive an entry for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches, or for any late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. If such problems arise, then the promoter may modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the competition.

The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any participant by any third party connected with this competition.

If government restrictions pertaining to events outside of the promoter’s control (including a pandemic) prevent prize delivery from occurring, promoter won’t be responsible for such failure. 

The promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications and the participant must seek their own independent financial advice in regard to the tax implications relating to the prize or acceptance of the prize.

The competition and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

In the context of the competition we collect the following personal data for the purposes of managing the participation in the competition, draw winners and, when applicable, delivering the prize:

• Email address
• Name
• Address (of the winner only)

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
