Great way to recycle but it is a bit costly.

Small zero waste bags

So far so good! They're easy to order, and easy to use. I prefer this to general supermarket plastic recycling because I can have confidence it's being recycled properly. The bags will last us ages, except for soft plastic recycling, so next time I'll be getting a large bag!

Expensive for a flat envelope - hardly holds any pill cases. 😂

Great idea

This is my second zero waste bag, I use mine to recycle blister packs as there's nowhere around here that does it. I love that I can recycle these as I get through quite a few every month and hate throwing them away! The bags are a bit pricey but even the small bags are surprisingly spacious so they do last a while before they're full.

Half way there

I was really pleased to find a way to recycle pill blister packs again. I bought the large size as I had stock-piled blister packs since the sponsored initiative ceased but it is only half full at the moment. Hovever, we have a lot in this hosehold so it will fill quite quickly.
The sponsored scheme was free to use (great) and I think the cost of the bags is quite high but I recognise that the cost of recycling is also high.
Luckily, I live quite close to a drop off point so it should be easy to send the bag back when full.

More plastic waste than expected.

My first impression of using my Zero Waste bag is that I didn’t realise how much plastic wast I still threw away, even after dealing with bread bags etc to supermarket, No.5 plastic to recycler and bottles etc to the Council. This means I’ll probably need more bags than I thought or try harder to reduce my plastic use.

So far so good!

Had it a couple of weeks so haven’t yet been through the return process, but seeing a significant difference in what was going into our landfill bin. I think we will manage to get a lot of plastic into it!
I think my only issue, is the we need some kind of holder to put the bag in as we just keep moving it around the kitchen.
Quite pricey but hopefully it will take the three months to fill the guide suggests.
