Great way to recycle plastic waste that is very difficult to recycle otherwise. I have lots of medications so being able to responsibly dispose of the empty blister packs helps me feel i am making a difference in how this waste is processed when I have no choice on the packaging I receive medications in. Really easy to order, large bag holds months worth of multiple medications a day, simple to return: scan the QR code, find an in post locker or drop off point near you, take the barcode with your bag and drop off!

I recycle at home and I like to think I am doing great but the items going into the general black bin bother me so we started to save the medication blister packs as I thought we could recycle at a large high street pharmacy but no ! I decided to purchase a bag and although I did think it was expensive I wanted to do better. So we have the medium sized bag and it’s nearly full and ready to be sent back.
It would be a great idea that we could recycle all the things that can’t go in the bin at a centre with a small charge as one bag with one item is good but I could not afford to get multiple bags so I could do more but money does not allow it. So we will have one or maybe 2 bags for now.
I think it’s a fantastic idea just wishing it was more cost effective.

Have used the small version and impressed with how much it held. Decided to go larger this time around to reduce the number of car trips to send them in. Double win for the planet.

Since the first bag I purchased, I found neighbours & friends very supportive in helping me fill it!
I’m nearly ready to buy another bag, because the current one has filled quicker than previous ones. More & more friends of friends are getting involved - all very keen to keep blister packs out of landfill.

I recycle whenever possible and Zero Waste Bags enable me to recycle items which are difficult or impossible to recycle locally such as pill blister packs and eye drop capsules. I pay for the service but it stops these plastic items going to landfill so it is worth it.

I think it’s a great idea that you can order the bag(s) and then choose what item you’re wanting to recycle from the list provided.
I would certainly encourage everyone to take part and reduce the amount of waste that goes into landfill, and help protect our planet!!

Ideal solution for recycling medical blister packs that would otherwise go to landfill

As with most households, quite a few members of my family are on daily medication. It has always irritated and upset me that all the plastic wrapping was not recycled in our area. These bags are such a great idea. I ordered the medium which is a really good size, great quality and it arrived really quickly. It is now filling up and I am amazed at how much we are stopping going to landfill by just this simple bag. I hope more people give it a go because I will continue with this again and again.

I ordered a large bag and it has a fantastic large capacity, really quick delivery. Haven’t had to return it yet but it appears to be easy to send back, just glad the medicine blister packs can be recycled through this scheme.

A really good idea, we have far more blister packs to get rid of than we realised, this bag helps us do it and is reasonably priced, well worth it

I came across Terracycle whilst trying to find a way, or method, to recycle items that were proving challenging to dispose of environmentally and sustainability.

I'm really impressed with the Terracycle service and approach; the recycling bag (to place my items into) arrived swiftly and the whole process has been incredibly easy and straight forward; plus I'm reassured knowing that items such as water filters etc. aren't going into landfill, but finding a new life as new plastic products!
