Big bag which is perfect for blister packs. I’ve told lots of people about it, so hopefully this will be used by more people. My only quibble is that it’s quite expensive to do this (£45 for the large bag) and that may put people off doing it.
Hi there,
Thank you so much for your feedback! We’re really glad to hear the bag is working well for you and that you’ve been spreading the word.
We totally understand that paid recycling solutions might not fit everyone’s budget. We’re always working hard to keep costs as low as possible, but the price reflects the full supply chain, from the cost of the bags and delivery to transportation, processing, and recycling.
By the way, did you know we also offer free recycling programmes for certain waste streams?

Thanks again for supporting recycling!
Very good even better when you give us a big discount. I collect from many clubs in my area as you can see from the bags I buy and send to you. Maggie
It was easy to order and arrived quickly, I think I will get a smaller size next time as I don't seem to use as many pill packets as I thought, I have had this bag months and it's nowhere near full.
Great bag and arrived fast. Its huge. Going to take me ages to fill so good value for money
Since Superdrug and Boots became difficult to recycle pill blister packs at (locally certainly) I have been trying to find an affordable alternative.
TerraCycle only seemed to offer very expensive (to me at least - a large box costing me more than a week’s pension!).
But when they had a special offer on waste bags recently I saw they were actually listing pill blister packs as one of the waste items you could use in them.
So I ordered a pack of three large bags and decanted the large bag of pill blister packs that I had accumulated over the last year or so into it.
I was pleased that it not only accommodated them but also those in my smaller collecting box (kept on the side in my kitchen next to my bins for council collected recycling and rubbish.
Next came the problem of returning them. I tried several places where I was told by the App I could take them but did eventually find a set of InPost Lockers at a Coop store in a town 15 miles away.
Luckily there was a lady there who knew how to use it as there were no instructions…
We found a large locker and the bag disappeared into it.
I’ve then waited a couple of weeks but have now received an acknowledgement from TerraCycle that it has been received and so I hope everything was OK!
That bag cost me £37 so I think as it swallowed about a year’s collection I can afford that! And I still have two bags to fill!
I’m so grateful not to have to put all these packs into our waste cycle!
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad our bags could make recycling your pill blister packs easier and help keep them out of the waste cycle. We really appreciate your support!
