I like this product and that I can recycle my medicine blister packs. I have a lot of them! However, it just costs too much and I will have to reconsider using this service.

Trying to do my bit

I have purchased a small recycling bag and will be sharing it with my wider family to collect medication blister packs, so that's now four families joining in the recycling. It will be interesting to see how long it takes us to fill it up.
The initial cost seems quite significant but bearing in mind it covers all the costs of recycling something with mixed construction, I feel it is fair.
I think manufacturers of such products could do more to make their products recyclable.
It's so good that TerraCycle are out there to offer this service. Well done TerraCycle!

Thank you so much for your review! We love to see you sharing the recycling efforts and can't wait to recycle your blisters :)

So expensive

It’s a great Initiative as it is hard to dispose of certain items in a sustainable way, but does it really need to be that expensive?

Thanks for your review! The cost of a Zero Waste Bag reflects the production of the bag; shipping to you and then back to our recycling facilities; and the actual cost of sorting, cleaning, processing, and recycling the contents. Our prices come with the guarantee that your rubbish will be properly recycled and won’t end up in landfills. :)

First bag

I got a small bag to recycle medication blister packs as I hate chucking them out and the schemes at chemists etc. seem to get overwhelmed every time one starts up. The outlay does seem a lot but I think it’s going to last about 4 months so if you think of it spread over that period it’s not as bad - just make sure everyone in the household knows “this is not just a plastic bag!”. I’ve yet to try sending it off so can’t comment on that process.

Thanks so much for taking recycling into your own hands! We appreciate your commitment to sustainabiltiy. We can't wait to recycle your blister packs.

Small Bag

I’ve chosen to recycle my contact lense pods. It will take a long time to fill the so it will seem worth while.

Thanks for your feedback!
